  1. Good review. Sounds like a middling film rather than the bloodthirsty action flick I was expecting (the flying guillotine is only used a few times??? SHAME!!!). Oh man, I’m having flashbacks to a childhood where I saw bits of The Flying Guillotine… or something to do with a flying guillotine.

    1. Thank you! Yeah, It’s a classic case of “it’s alright” I suppose – it’s definitely not awful but at the same time it’s sort of forgettable. The flying guillotine is only really used in the first battle right at the beginning then it makes a kind of comeback towards the end but I guess they blew all of their CGI budget in one go. It had noble aims but ended up being seduced by its “in 3D!” tagline 😦
